Acura TLX Broke April Records
There’s a reason why you see so many Acura’s on the road throughout the country. The luxury division of Honda knows its stuff, and its sales results from April proved why Acura is hailed as a King on the blacktop. Led by the TLX sedan, Acura sold 14,132 units in April 2017. This resulted in its best sales month since October 2015 with 5,258 TLX’s sold. The milestone also brings numbers for the TLX up 39.1 percent from last April, after a solid first quarter marketing campaign.
The TLX will soon get even more attention with the launch of the considerably redesigned 2018 model. It will have three unique variations including a V6-powered A-Spec model with new bold and aggressive styling to help drivers really stand out on New York roads.
Acura light trucks were also in high demand this past April with the MDX and RDX selling a combined 7,845 units.
“We’re seeing our new marketing efforts resonate with buyers with TLX posting strong sales in a tough segment,” said Jon Ikeda, vice president & general manager of Acura. “With the new 2018 TLX launching next month, including the all-new A-Spec model, we look forward to broadening our appeal with performance-focused buyers.”
